St. James Fair, Carthage NY
This annual event; hosted by the people of St. James Parish, is a food Lover's Paradise. The event is open to the public admission is free. In addition to food booths they have rides, games of chance, children's games and some entertainment, but for me the food is the real star.
Food tickets can be purchased for $.50. at ticket booths. 
They tickets can be used to purchase food items from several food unique food booths. They have Specialty, Burger, Pizza, American, Lebanese, Fried Dough, Ice Cream and Baked Goods.

Some of the items we tried were the clam chowder, perogies,, stuffed grape leaves, cabbage rolls, fried dough, rice pudding, custard, and baklava. All delicious. 
Rating 5. Go early, some of the items sell out.
