Country Belle Farms, Adams

I want to go back.  Country Belle is a nice Ice Cream Stand located just outside Belleville.  I didn't realize until I posted the review it was actually in Adams.  



 The Ice Cream Stand is attached to a large barn located between a field and farmhouse, just outside of Belleville.  

 We weren't planning on Ice Cream, but the cute stand wàs hard to pass up.  I didn't really know what I wanted, even after waiting in line watching the yummy treats being served I still hadn't made a choice.  The server was very friendly and recommended her favorite.  A peanut butter sundae, so that's what I had.  Great choice.  Next time I will order it without nots.  The peanuts they added were very finely ground and created a grainy texture. 




Reasonable prices.

The next day I told a coworker about this little gem.  She already knew, and said if you walk around the barn, you can pet the animals.  Now I definitely want to go back.

  We found this restaurant by chance and it's the exact type of restaurant I really wanted to love .  The classic American Diner is one of my favorites.    We arrived after the normal dinner hour, but well before closing.  The restaurant was almost empty.   What I really liked, the prices were reasonable and many choices looked enticing.  We wanted basic comfort food and asked a few questions.    I don't know if it was the questions that set them off or just that we were new, but we could hear snide comments about the order, almost like were a burden to ask for dressing on the side.  Maybe they were just having a bad day.    It's not like I would never go back I just wouldn't rush back and probably would be hesitant to recommend it.

  Rating 3 7 Nice little combo gas station, Deli, Grocery.  Good place to stop from a cup of coffee.  The staff is friendly.   They have an assortment of breakfast pastries and sandwiches.    Downside. No public restrooms.  They do have some outdoor seating.
