Daddy Ed's

the waitress returned with drinks and was ready to take our order. I was torn between several items on the menu and still hadn't made a choice so I asked what the special came with. She looked blank and said chicken and biscuits. I thought it was odd that it didn't come with anything else, but caved at the last minute and ordered it anyway. I thought it was odd that it didn't come with anything else vegetable some type of side. it turned out to be an excellent choice the vegetables were actually incorporated into the chicken and biscuits the peas and carrots gave it a sweet flavor. In addition to the biscuits the chicken gravy vegetable concoction smothered mashed potatoes.
The other person was also having a difficult time making a choice. She settled on the chicken finger and fry dinner. That dinner came with a aside and she selected potato salad. She requested a side of sauce instead of the normal dipping sauces and the waitress happily complied.
A packed dessert display was in full view while we enjoyed our delicious dinners. I could see small pieces of paper separating the portions and I wrongly assumed they were all commercially prepared.
I paid the bill and noticed that not all the cakes and pies had the same uniform shape. I was told the cheesecakes were the onlycommercially prepared products, everything else is homemade. We Will be back to try some of those delicious looking desserts.
it is absolutely possible to eat here for less than minimum wage.
