Hardware Cafe & General Store, Fair Haven, NY

 

 this is the type of store I really like. It was an old hardware store turned into a boutique and coffee shop.  Unfortunately the service was terrible. I really was just looking for a place to find a cup of coffee and found this little gem. 

 Cute items. Poor service. I saw 2 counter employees. I waited at the counter. They both had other tasks, but no "good morning" no "be right with you".  I waited. Finally he waited on me. He was pleasant but seemed confused.
