Pete's Trattoria, Watertown

A local favorite, they have undergone many changes throughout the years.  It is good to see them doing well and surviving the pandemic.

We really enjoyed the meals served during the pandemic.  Simple meals like a fish fry on Friday were served drive up style.  Cars would line the street and pull up as meals were passed through car windows.  Hot, delicious and reasonably priçed.

I have attended many dinners and small parties over the years.  The most recent was a small Christmas party.  They just seemed to be having an off night in the kitchen.  One person even found a hair in the food.  They brought her another meal, but it was awkward because everyone else had been served. Our waitress was wonderful.

Very few nails were available below minimum wage.  The portions are very generous, so almost everyone left with the takeout container. My meal even had a better flavor the next day.
