Arby's, Watertown

 Update: Nov 2022 They still have happy hour, but prices have gone up.   Arby's is one of my favorite spots for a quick afternoon snack.  They have happy hour pricing from 2-5 on snack size items.    Crinkle Fries  Roast Beef and Jalapeno Slider  Still a great deal.  Sliders, fries and a chocolate mint shake from the $1 menu offered from 2-5.

Pete's Trattoria, Watertown

 A local favorite, they have undergone many changes throughout the years.  It is good to see them doing well and surviving the pandemic.   We really enjoyed the meals served during the pandemic.  Simple meals like a fish fry on Friday were served drive up style.  Cars would line the street and pull up as meals were passed through car windows.  Hot, delicious and reasonably priçed.  I have attended many dinners and small parties over the years.  The most recent was a small Christmas party.  They just seemed to be having an off night in the kitchen.  One person even found a hair in the food.  They brought her another meal, but it was awkward because everyone else had been served. Our waitress was wonderful.   Very few nails were available below minimum wage.  The portions are very generous, so almost everyone left with the takeout container. My meal even had a better flavor the next day.   Squash Soup  Veal Melanzane

Nonna Dina Pizzeria, Brownville

 Nice local pizzeria.  They do have some seating with counter service but the majority of the business seems to be take out and delivery. We were in the area, had a coupon and hadn't eaten so it seemed like a good choice to just grab a quick pizza to go.  I went inside and ordered from the menu above the counter.  I told them before I ordered that I had a coupon for a half price large cheese pizza.  I asked if I could order extra toppings and pay the difference and she assured me I could.   I ordered the plain cheese.  I could do the math in my head 50% plus tax, but the amount that I was being asked to pay didn't add up even if I was being taxed on the whole order.   I questioned the woman because I thought maybe she had accidentally charged me for one of the toppings. She assured me she hadn't.  When I questioned her again about the math she explained to me the prices listed weren't there accurate prices.   I certainly understand in today's economy the need to rai
