Grand Hacienda, St. Pete's Beach, FL

We were a bit of an eclectic group.  We were looking for a restaurant that was relatively close to our resort so that it didn't cost of fortune to get there.  We wanted something that was fairly close to the beach so that we could enjoy the evening near the water. We wanted something that was in a reasonable range of our expensive account.

One person really wanted authentic Mexican having grown up in Florida, he wanted the type of restaurant that he remembered from his youth.

One person had never really tried Mexican food, and was under orders from my husband try something new and not pick a hamburger or something she could get anywhere.

And there was me. I can always go for Mexican.

We found a restaurant within about a block of the beach that was a reasonable distance from the hotel.

We all were very pleased with our meals.

Prices seemed reasonable for the area, however most dinners were priced above minimum wage.
Complimentary chips and salsa were delicious.

It was hard to pass on Taco Tuesday but we all wanted meals and didn't really have a place to store leftovers.

Definitely would visit again if we were in the area.
