At a Minimum or Is it worth an hour?

 August 2022 Small seasonal ice cream stand located at the end of FreeWay Grocery.  Busy little stand great for a quick treat.  

Busy spot, but they do a good job with crowd control.  Great spot for a treat after a trip to Rudy's Lakeside.  Strawberry, Raspberry Twist Busy spot, but they do a good job with crowd control.

 A Summertime Favorite  Clams, Crab cakes, Haddock Plate.  Reasonable prices for a fun experience.  Biggest downside is the seagulls.  

  Great place and a great meal.  We would definitely go back if we were in the area.  Sauces add to the experience. Pork & Brisket combo   We visited in the heat of the summer so I knew that we wouldn't have a place to store leftovers.  We opted to order one platter instead of individual meals.  That was the perfect way to try multiple items and not waste food.  Our waitress was great and even brought us small plates. The restaurant is wide open so even the indoor dining has an outdoor feel.

 Typical Dunkin.  I enjoy the seasonal donuts.  What elevates this one is the sweet friendly counter worker.    Cornbread Donut 

 One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.  Portions are very generous.  Great value for the price.    Egg Drop   Wonton 

 Located in Cape Vincent NY.  We visited during what was probably their busiest time French Festival.   The prices seemed a little high compared to other small villages in the area.  Located on the main street it's fun to be able to walk up to a window a get a treat.  

 I still remember my first visit to a Wendy's. It seemed like a totally different fast food experience. The burger seemed massive compared to the typical fast food burger. I remember the excitement when they finally opened one in my hometown.  Fast forward 4 decades, now it's one of many.   It had been a long time since I visited. I just wanted a quick inexpensive snack.  They had been advertising a new flavor of Frosty so, I thought why not?  Rookie mistake I had coupons in the car and forgot to use them.  I ordered the strawberry Frosty and a small fry.  The frosty had a really fake taste and the fries were half the size of a cell phone.  It's not that I'll avoid Wendy's in the future it's just not something I would rush back for.  

 I tend to prefer local homestyle restaurants, but every now and then I get the urge to go to a chain.  This time it was Red Lobster. The Trio.  Coconut Shrimp was the top pick   They were out of baked potatoes.    Basic fish fry.    Salad  Famous Red Lobster biscuits.   Nice evening.
