Cookie's Goodies, Watertown

  Part ice cream stand, part bakery, part gift shop, part fun.  This a business is fairly new and I really hope it succeeds.



 They have specials.





 We went for the Ice Cream.  Soft serve was broken, but the baby scoop was a perfect treat.


 They offer indoor and outdoor seating.  The decor offers fun touches like a chalkboard and records lining the room.

   I am very happy to see this place given a new life.  I suspect by the aging gas pumps it was once a general store.  But I could be wrong as it has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The ice cream stand is a welcome addition.    They have a good assortment of delicious Gifford Ice Cream.  We have supported the restaurant through the years and it's various iterations.  We plan to go back and try the real food.  It's just hard to drive by and not grab a quick cone.

Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee, Potsdam

   We were close to Potsdam so we decided to swing by the Bagelery and pick up some bagels to go.  I didn't realize it had new owners.  It wasn't bad, just different.  Fancier and more formal. I'd probably still  stop if I was going by, but wouldn't drive out of the way.
