Felder's Ice Cream Stand, Redwood

  This little ice cream stand was a great find.  They offer indoor and outdoor seating.  I tried the Sundae of the week which was a Mounds Sundae.

It was fun to eat inside and listen to the banter of the locals of who were enjoying ice cream or coffee at the counter.  I suspect this is a daily occurrence.

So many choices.  Good thing they had such a tempting Sundae of the week, or I think I would still be in line trying to make a choice.

   I am very happy to see this place given a new life.  I suspect by the aging gas pumps it was once a general store.  But I could be wrong as it has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The ice cream stand is a welcome addition.    They have a good assortment of delicious Gifford Ice Cream.  We have supported the restaurant through the years and it's various iterations.  We plan to go back and try the real food.  It's just hard to drive by and not grab a quick cone.

Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee, Potsdam

   We were close to Potsdam so we decided to swing by the Bagelery and pick up some bagels to go.  I didn't realize it had new owners.  It wasn't bad, just different.  Fancier and more formal. I'd probably still  stop if I was going by, but wouldn't drive out of the way.
