Cottage Inn, Copenhagen New York

Turned out to be a great find. We went to Copenhagen for a church supper, but they were sold out. We've been by the cottage in many times before so we decided to give it a try. Happily it was wing night. 50 cent wings medium delicious. A side of mac and cheese for $3 a cup of corn chowder also $3 beer specials $3. Easy to make a great meal for less than minimum wage.


We plan to go back many items looks reasonable and delicious.

   I am very happy to see this place given a new life.  I suspect by the aging gas pumps it was once a general store.  But I could be wrong as it has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The ice cream stand is a welcome addition.    They have a good assortment of delicious Gifford Ice Cream.  We have supported the restaurant through the years and it's various iterations.  We plan to go back and try the real food.  It's just hard to drive by and not grab a quick cone.

Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee, Potsdam

   We were close to Potsdam so we decided to swing by the Bagelery and pick up some bagels to go.  I didn't realize it had new owners.  It wasn't bad, just different.  Fancier and more formal. I'd probably still  stop if I was going by, but wouldn't drive out of the way.
