McDonald's, Tupper Lake
I prefer small local restaurants or deli's, but we were in a hurry.
The restaurant had been nicely renovated.
Basic cheeseburger and fries. Burgers were buy one get one free.
Robin's Nest, Pierrepont Manor
I am very happy to see this place given a new life. I suspect by the aging gas pumps it was once a general store. But I could be wrong as it has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The ice cream stand is a welcome addition. They have a good assortment of delicious Gifford Ice Cream. We have supported the restaurant through the years and it's various iterations. We plan to go back and try the real food. It's just hard to drive by and not grab a quick cone.
