Found this little gem while traveling.  It was just what we were looking for.  

 95% of the menu is below the minimum wage for the area so it provides many affordable choices.


 Tough call between the Chicken & Biscuits or Fish


I think the lack of diners was due to the hour.  We arrived in the 

 Breakfast all day is a plus.  They made the hash browns fresh, so they could be made without onions.  

 

The Fish Special was a good choice.   I even had enough for leftovers.

   I am very happy to see this place given a new life.  I suspect by the aging gas pumps it was once a general store.  But I could be wrong as it has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The ice cream stand is a welcome addition.    They have a good assortment of delicious Gifford Ice Cream.  We have supported the restaurant through the years and it's various iterations.  We plan to go back and try the real food.  It's just hard to drive by and not grab a quick cone.

Park Bros. Bagels and Coffee, Potsdam

   We were close to Potsdam so we decided to swing by the Bagelery and pick up some bagels to go.  I didn't realize it had new owners.  It wasn't bad, just different.  Fancier and more formal. I'd probably still  stop if I was going by, but wouldn't drive out of the way.
