L & L Hawaiian BBQ

 Perhaps it was because it was late on a Friday night but we didn't enjoy your meal as much as we had in the past. The good news is that by minimum wage standards almost everything on the menu was considered affordable.  Very few items with the exception of the combination plates actually cost more than $9.70 the new minimum wage. A full size meal includes two scoops of rice and a scoop of salad. I didn't realize one of the salad choices for sale it was a green salad. We ordered one meal with three scoops of rice and the other with a macaroni salad. I'm not a big fan of their mac salad. I don't know what they use for a dressing but it has very little flavor and is a very wet macaroni salad. We opted to try the more expensive combination platters. The first choice was the barbecue mix consisting of barbecue chicken beef & BBQ short ribs, We have had this conbo in the past and this time found the meat dry and much smaller portions the price $10.55.
