Bamboo, Old Forge, NY
We made our annual leaf peeping trip to the Old Forge area. It happened to be a beautiful Monday. I had forgotten how many restaurants were closed on Mondays. We spotted this little place while driving out of town and decided to give it a try. I don't typically think of Chinese restaurants as seasonal, but apparently this one is. We hit them on the night before they closed, consequently they were out of many items. I am not sure if they are operating in the post pandemic mode, but food is ordered and picked up at a window. Most of the business seemed to be takeout. If you are dining in, you can bring your food to this area. Sesame Chicken Chicken with mixed vegetables. We tried to order Chicken with Broccoli but were told they were out of broccoli. Both dishes had broccoli but it was cold almost frozen. I won't rush back when they reopen.
